How long it has been running

Registered in May 2022, it has 4 years on the CQC register.

Its only published overall rating so far is Good, from July 2023.

No new overall rating has been published for 3 years. CQC re-inspects based on risk, so an old rating is not a bad sign in itself, but staff and management may have changed.

What it may cost

We estimate Bon Accord at £1,660–£2,030 a week for nursing care (dementia), based on published prices in the region. Over a year that is roughly £86k–£106k.

If nursing care is needed, the NHS pays a weekly NHS-funded nursing care contribution directly to the home, whoever pays the rest.

Council help is possible below £23,250 in savings: ask Brighton and Hove Council for a free care needs assessment.
