The inspection, summarised
- Whilst improvements were made since the last inspection, we found the governance systems of the service did not support the service to consistently improve and sustain safe care delivery.
- There were quality assurance processes in place, but these did not always identify areas for improvement including potential infection risks and environmental issues.
- People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests.
- However, the policies and systems in the service did not support this practice.
Inspected 17 July 2023; report published 1 September 2023; supporting 28 people at the time. In CQC's words, from its published findings (Open Government Licence). Read the full report.
