Track record

CQC registration dates from July 2022, so the service has been operating for around 4 years under its current registration.

CQC has published 4 overall ratings for it (2016–2022), starting at Good; it has gone up 1 and down 1 time, and is now Good.

No new overall rating has been published for 3 years. CQC re-inspects based on risk, so an old rating is not a bad sign in itself, but staff and management may have changed.

The inspection, summarised

  • The inspection was prompted following concerns raised to the Care Quality Commission in relation to the management of medicines, consent, governance and staffing levels.
  • People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests; the policies and systems in the service supported this practice.
  • People received their medicines in a safe and caring way.
  • Where we identified some gaps in records and audits the registered manager took immediate action to address this.
